The special chief secretary for municipal administration, Arvind Kumar, excitedly shared, “We are expecting a fantastic response because these auctions are primarily aimed at providing opportunities for middle and upper-middle-class working individuals and employees to finally own their dream homes.”
Well, the anticipation seems to be on point! The pre-bid meeting for the Mokila land auctions witnessed an impressive turnout on Friday, with about 200 enthusiastic individuals in attendance.
To make the deal even sweeter, the HMDA plans to develop top-notch infrastructure facilities like well-planned roads with footpaths, central medians, an efficient underground sewage system, a reliable water supply distribution network with overhead tanks, a robust stormwater drainage system, and uninterrupted electrical power supply and street lighting. The icing on the cake? All of these works are projected to be completed within just 18 months, ensuring a speedy transformation of the area.
But wait, there’s more! The government is also expecting a massive response in the bidding process because the layout is conveniently located adjacent to the 100 ft wide Shankarpally road.
